PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad -- International teams will begin arriving to Trinidad and Tobago in just under two weeks to vie for the Rugby Americas North Sevens Men’s and Women’s regional titles. The competition schedule for all 24 teams has been released and ensures two full days of rugby action.With 68 matches over the course of the tournament, fans at CIC Grounds at St. Mary’s College can expect to experience high caliber rugby in a festival-like atmosphere close to downtown, parks and the island’s coastline. Competition will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday (all times local). Adult admission for the event is $60 TTD and $100 TTD for a two-day pass. Children’s admission is $20 TTD per day. RAN’s Get Into Rugby program will be on display, with an area for children to participate in age-appropriate rugby games and activities. Food and drinks will be available for purchase inside the event. All matches will be streamed live on rugbyamericasnorth.com.
